Guess I’ll introduce myself

I’ve seen a lot of ppl making blog posts just explaining who they are, their interests, goals, etc.  

Then I realized: oh wait, that’s a pretty good idea…

Oh wait I haven’t done that

So here’s my introduction

Hi guys, I’m Echo (not my real name), I’m a 17 year old and senior in high school.  I aim to become a professional classical saxophonist and saxophone teacher when I get outta this, but I also enjoy playing other instruments like Clarinet, Bass clarinet, guitar, piano, oboe, and cello.  I like to consider myself a “woodwind specialist,” but my skill at saxophone exceeds anything I can do with the other instruments to such a degree that I kinda feel I have to say I’m more of a “master of one” than a “jack of all trades,” sadly.

I have a really big passion for music, and I like all kinds! I never really understood the genre wars (as I like to call them) bc I’ve always been able to find something I liked about any genre I’ve come across.  I like everything from edm to jazz to classical music to rap and metal and rock and everything beyond (but I go through phases of only listening to one genre at a time, bc hey, we’re all human.  I can’t have the objectively perfect music taste all the time /j)

From what you’ve read so far you probably think music is my whole personality (it is lmao,) but I like other things too, like gaming, biking, cross stitching, and I really like studying linguistics. I speak 6 languages (and by that I mean I’m fluent in my native language, speak the languages absolutely terribly, and speak the other two kinda somewhat ok).  They are English, German, French, Japanese, Polish, and Spanish.  Linguistics, languages, and programming are what you might call something of a    ”special interest“ of mine.  I might never do them professionally, but I still find them incredibly interesting and love to learn as much as I physically can about them.  My favorite programming languages are Python, C++, C# (for the music nerd in me), and C- (for the terrible student in me lol). My least favorite programming language is FUCKING java I hate that language with a passion, but it’s the only one I’m certified in, so I have to use it anyway. (I really don’t, I just chose to bc it’s the one I’m best at lmao)  

I’m also a voice actor and writer, working on three upcoming projects in B.L.O.O.M (voice actor, Hans and Cassidy’s dad), JUG (voice actor, Bolt), and Static Heart (lead director and writer). As of right now, it’s the only thing I’m actually doing something with, excluding school band, but with any hope, I’ll be doing that for the rest of my life.

Outside of that stuff, I’m a Christian (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints), I have three siblings (two sisters and a brother), and I live with my mom and dad.  Im Pansexual and Demiromantic (which personally, I consider flaws, but I own up to them and simply choose not to do anything sinful, but it’s also ok if you don’t see it that way, do what you feel is right, and I’ll do what I feel is right)  I do take questions, but I don’t take disrespect (pls, am js a silly wittle guy don’t be mean to me QwQ) 

Oh yeah, also, while I’m hesitant to call myself a furry (both because of a lack of experience in the fandom, and because of a little to much of a… certain experience with the fandom, iykyk) however, I am still interested in some of the same things.  I have four fursonas: Echo, Saydie, Shadow, and Skylar, and although they sit much closer to the back of my head than they used to, I’m still very fond of them and they are very important to me.
