i got a flip phone. here's what it's like so far

to be specific, the flip i got is the nokia 2720 flip 4g. please take this into consideration because not all dumb phones are the same.

it's relatively easy to navigate and pretty nice. it does have music but the bluetooth makes it EXTREMELY fried, so if you'd like to get the true 2001 experience use bluetooth instead of wired headphones/earbuds. personally, i use wired headphones. you can transfer mp3 files to get music (i have 300 songs on it currently).

now to the camera and wallpaper-- it doesnt support images from your laptop (i learned that the hard way) so i just took a pic of my preferred image (deadpool) and just set it as the background pic. the camera's pretty mediocre for a dumb phone, and you have to have super precise lighting and angling. it DOES support jpegs in this height and width: 320 x 240 px

it does support sim cards and all of that 4g jazz, so text to your heart's desire! of course, i plan on using it to replace my slightly smarter phone and for school so that's pretty useful. it does have the highly entertaining game that is snake, and you can go at it for hours (sarcasm).

you can decorate it, yes, and it does offer a backlight for the keyboard for all my glasses wearing peeps (me). you do have to learn how to type with a flip phone keyboard, and it's relatively easy to-- at least to me.

it does have wifi, language settings, time settings, ringtone settings (you can pick from an mp3 file) and you can also have an emergency contact. it does have a radio and, weirdly enough, a... news app? thing? it also has a QR code reader, so go wild with that.

that's pretty much all the important/general stuff, and i do like it. i can see myself using it more than my phone, and it's pretty cool to carry around when it's decorated (flex your nicheness). i do recommend it.
