Living my freshman dream (My engagement story update! or if y'all wanna hear a cute story)

To start I am 18 and my Bf is also 18 yes ik we are young but let me continue.

I met my bf our freshman year towards the end of the year. I was very stuck to my religion and he was going through a rough time with his ex due to them cheating and breaking up all the time for the whole relationship. we talked on the bus but I didn't ask for his number due to the ex being double sided. I went through a couple of my "friends" sexually assaulting and harassing me making me not want a relationship as well as a poor home life but I wanted one with my now bf. 

The next school year we met up again and he permanently broke up with his ex because she cheated again and left. a few weeks later he gives me his number and we started talking as friends, which then later led to being bsfs (but now realizing we were smitten for each other). with me not being able to notice what being hit on is like and him trying his best it was the most awkward friendship. he then later left at the end of the year but still we talk daily. later on we remain single and a little light flirting til the end of Junior Year and one day we just start heavily hitting on each other which led to late night calls and a relationship. both of us admitted we fell in love the first time we laid eyes on each other. 

we kept our love life a secret from my family until recently and he met my mother and step father because we knew it was time (after a little over a year) and because he is going into the military. I then met his family and told my bio father about him recently but...

NOW WE GETTING TO THE GOOD PART

we were laying in bed at his place the other night just watching a movie in our underwear as one does and he just turns to me (and yes we have talked about marriage before). we are having a nice time and we got on the topic of marriage and he states " I know we have talked about marriage but when are you ready? because I don't want to catch you by surprise" and I said anytime he wants but I wish for soon because I know this man is my one and only and even his family sees it. then he just goes "I will be gone for a few months for boot camp but honey, I want to right after and I want to give you to best ring ever I want you to marry me honey, what do you say?" (I currently don't have a ring because we don't have any money but he wants to get me my engagement and a matching band) AND I SAID YES. 

we are getting eloped in around 3 months <3
