I just lied to my best friend... FOR A GOOD REASON!!

I feel terrible!!1!! So, my best friend's, who I call Carp on here, birthday is soon, and they REALLY love The Apothecary Diaries, so I wanted to buy them a couple of figures. "What's the issue, then?" you may ask, well, I wasn't sure which figures they already had, so I asked them if they could take a picture of ALL of their figures, including from different medias (so it didn't seem suspicious), and to then send it to me, now, I never ask for this sort of stuff, ESPECIALLY demand it, but I did because I found three figures that were at an amazing price, but I wasn't gonna buy it for them if they already had it, so, they sent me the picture. 

The issue is, I knew that by asking I would also need to pay them with info as to WHY I needed it, even if they didn't ask right away, I knew it was gonna come up. So, what I did was make up a lie, I sent them an audio recording "explaining" why I asked for the picture. I said: "Sorry for randomly asking for the pic at 10:30PM, I'm talking to a guy who is also into The Apothecary Diaries, and he doesn't believe me when I say that my best friend is also into it, and has a few figures, he asked me which ones, and since I didn't remember, he started joking about how I'm a liar, and that grinded my gears so I asked for the pic." It doesn't sound so believable, but I'm just paraphrasing, also, it sounded better in my tone of voice, BUT I FEEL SO BAD FOR LYINGGGG!!1!!!1! 

I NEVER lie to Carp, they are my best friend, and I love him soooo much, but I wanted him off my trail in what will be his birthday gift. I LIE ALL THE TIME, AND NEVER FEEL BAD AT ALL, WHY DOES MY CHEST FEEL HEAVY FROM THISSSSSS, Is this what lying to someone is supposed to feel like???? iwi

I just want Carp's birthday to happen, so I can tell them the truth, and give them their gifts, I just wanna tell them already, and apologize for lyinggggg ૮◞ ‸ ◟ ა

Anyway, I just wanted to get this off my chest somehow since I can't tell anyone else about my big, fat, ugly, dirty lie I just told my Carp.
