I used to be a bully....

Yes you heard me right.

A few months ago on Facebook I bullied a random girl from my school who did NOTHING to me (I didn't even know the poor girl!) and made a hateful post mocking the way she did her makeup. Back then I was also a bully to my real friends and hanging with "friends" who encouraged me to be a bully. (it backfired. the fake friends mocked me, told me to kms, and told the entire school I was a sl*t and made me feel like it was my fault for getting m0l3sted. I REPORTED THE ABUSE AND AM SAFE)

I felt so horrible. I was miserable at that time in my life because I too was being bullied both IRL and online (one of the bullies being the "friend" who wanted me to be a bully and that "friends" friends who didnt even live in our state!) I though being mean would make me "cool" and more like the popular girls who were mean.

Nope. It made me a loser just like them.

I felt Gods presence last night. He told me "Go apologize the right way". So I did this morning.

This is what I told her. (name removed for obv reasons)

KID FROM SCHOOL, I'm so sorry for the post I made about you a few months ago on the one account. Looking back, that was a really shitty thing for me to do. I definitely wouldn't have liked it if someone did that to me. It is off the profile forever (I think I already told you this but I can't remember). I was really insecure about the way I dressed and standing out because of the way I was treated at the time. A lot of people at school and at home were doing similar to me (mocking and other forms of bullying)  and I thought "If I wanna fit in I should act like the people who are mean to me!" It didn't make me “cool” , it made me a bully. I think the way you dress is cool as heck! I've always wanted to get a nose ring! I hope we can be friends because you seem super cool.  I hope you know this will never happen again. I have left that life far behind me.

Ps. Please don't stop being you

After I clicked send I felt that weight be lifted.

I hope whoever reads this knows that if you except the Lord into your life he will help and heal you. Without God and Jesus I would still be the worst version of me. It is never to late to say sorry.
