The Color Purple

If you know me, you probably already know one thing about me.

I love purple. And I don't mean I like purple. I mean if something comes in purple, I'm probably going to want it in purple. There's just something about the color that has always caught my attention. It feels fun, pretty, bold, and a little different all at the same time.

Purple just feels like me.

I think colors can say a lot about someone's personality. Purple has always felt like a color that doesn't need to fit into one category. It can be soft and feminine, but it can be bold and dramatic. And honestly, I think that's one of the reasons I love it so much. I don't want to fit into one box either. I can be girly and love pretty things, but I can also be loud, sarcastic, spontaneous, and a little chaotic. Purple somehow manages to represent all of that.

It's everywhere in my world.

At this point, purple has basically become part of my personality. If I'm choosing between two things and one of them is purple, there's a very good chance I'm choosing the purple one. Purple clothes? Yes. Purple decorations? Absolutely. Purple accessories? Obviously. Purple anything? Just hand it over. I don't even have to think about it anymore.

Why do I love it so much?

 Maybe it's because purple feels different. It's not the first color everyone things of, and I like that. It's a little unexpected, it's creative, it's playful, it's pretty without trying too hard. and there are so many different versions of it. Lavender can feel soft and peaceful. Deep purple can feel dramatic and elegant. There really is a purple for every mood.

Purple makes me happy.

At the end of the day, I don't think everything needs a deep explanation. Maybe I just love purple because it makes me happy. And I think that enough of a reason. We're always looking for deeper meanings behind everything, but sometimes you can simply like something because it brings you joy. For me, that's purple. It's one of those little things that feels completely me. 

A little reminder.

I think everyone should have something like that. Something small that makes you smile. A favorite color, a favorite song, a comfort show, a hobby, a collection. Something that might seem silly to someone else but makes perfect sense to you. Because those little things are part of what makes us who we are.
