Today's utter craziness

Today started off pretty well, though I got up earlier than I wanted to. Our silly cat was scratching at the door. I got ready , ate breakfast, and headed to work only to come home intending to eat lunch and find our street had been blocked off and our sweet old neighbor lady being rushed to the hospital. She's 80 years old and her husband had called 911 because she had a heart attack. She's been sent to a specialist and that sounds pretty serious. I hope she's going to be okay. I did get some good news, though. My brother and sister in law are expecting a baby in October. I can't wait to be an aunt!! I love seeing them so happy and hope everything goes well for them. It's insane to think my little brother is going to be a father. He's going to be as great a father as he is a brother.
