may was a tightrope walk between prepping for finals, taking 3 hour bus rides to various doctors' appointments, and staying out just a little too late most weekends. everything rushed by me. my friends were home for the first time in a long time. my roommate carried me on his back at 1am after my decision to wear 2 inch platforms to a function came back to bite me. my camera roll filled up with flash photos of toothy smiles and tiny dorms. everything seemed to be approaching an inevitable end. everything seemed bright. i felt like i was waiting for the other shoe to drop.
