random cool fun fact!

Turns out that roller coasters have specific classifications to sort them by, and one of them is pipeline roller coasters. Which, as the name implies, is kind of built to look/work like a pipe. So instead of doing a vertical loop (aka loop-de-loop, and yes, that is an actual termin lmao), it does a 360° spin inside the metal carcass resembling a pipe.

Which is pretty cool and all, but what's actually remarkable is how few of them exist. Like, you'd think that if someone invented this miracle number, maybe people would replicate it more and place them in various different theme parks, right? But apparently not, because according to resources, ONLY 8 have ever been manufactured and made it to an amusement park at all!! 

And even then, of these 8, MERELY 3 are still operating to this day!!! And all of the currently operating ones are located in Japan (which makes sense, considering they were most likely made by TOGO, which is a Japanese manufacturer after all)
