Turns out that roller coasters have specific classifications to sort them by, and one of them is pipeline roller coasters. Which, as the name implies, is kind of built to look/work like a pipe. So instead of doing a vertical loop (aka loop-de-loop, and yes, that is an actual termin lmao), it does a 360
And even then, of these 8, MERELY 3 are still operating to this day!!! And all of the currently operating ones are located in Japan (which makes sense, considering they were most likely made by TOGO, which is a Japanese manufacturer after all).
