SF-26 : The upgrade plan Ferrari is bringing to the 2026 season

Ferrari has proved in the first half of the season their aggresion, they have planned a big engine upgrade.
So, what is ferrari actually bringing to Zandvoort?

Lets take Mercedes for example, their biggest difference is in the engine.Their gap is 15-20 horsepower. (Only considering the internal combustion engine)

Although, the battery side is clearly overtaken by Mercedes, with bigger energy deployment on the straights.

The upgrade package for Zandvoort is quite similar to the one they had in Barcelona.

The team are going to bring : A new floor, revised rear corner, floorboard and floor fences, along with revised diffuser spec. (Which makes minor changes to the tunnel and arrow elements)

An improvement regarding high-speed will come, and working around energy deployment better.

We have already seen what SF-26 can do, it looses time on high speed sections and straights just becuz of the energy running out.

At Monza, Ferrari will bring their second Adur engine upgrades.

The engine upgrade will have a revised turbo.  It will have changes like : Revised blade geometry and blade count while the diameter the same.

Ferrari are expecting improved efficiency of the turbine compresser group which should bring better management of airflow and pressure.  (WHICH should help the engine with mantaining power)

We are also expecting a 16 to 20 horsepower from the Adur upgrade

At Monza, Ferrari will introduce a low downforce package

Ferrari has a fourth upgrade package in development (Autoracer said this will be brought in autumn, aka around baku or Singapore)
