Okay, let’s talk about Eddie Munson.

If you know me, you probably already know I’m obsessed with this character. Eddie is easily one of the most memorable characters in Stranger Things. He’s loud, chaotic, sarcastic, obsessed with D&D and, obviously, METAL. 🎸

He’s the kind of person everyone misunderstands. To the people of Hawkins, he’s just a freak, especially after what happens with Chrissy. But honestly, Eddie is just a guy who’s scared, trying to survive and constantly feeling like he doesn’t belong.

And his music taste makes him even cooler. Metallica, Dio, Black Sabbath… this guy had one of the best playlists in Hawkins.

His guitar scene in the Upside Down is probably one of my favorite scenes in the whole show. Playing Master of Puppets while the Demobats are flying everywhere? Absolutely insane. I’ll never get over that scene.

What I also love about Eddie is that he doesn’t suddenly become fearless. He’s scared, and that’s exactly what makes his final choice so important. He could have run away again, but this time, he stayed and fought.

He deserved so much better. Seriously.

Eddie wasn’t a monster. He was just a weird metalhead who found his place with the Hellfire Club.

And honestly?

Hawkins didn’t deserve Eddie Munson. 🖤
