🎉 TWENTY YEARS. ONE CAPE. COUNT GAIUS.

Last night, in true NORS fashion, a group of us gathered in Lumbridge — not for a 99, but for something just as meaningful. Count Gaius stood before Hans and received his 20-year veteran cape.

Twenty years.

He made his account at a young age, like so many of us did in the early days of RuneScape. But he wouldn't play regularly until two years later — when the game changed. When clans were created. When the Grand Exchange arrived. When Gielinor became a place worth staying in.

And stay he did.

The cape will be keepsaked — not just as a trophy, but as part of his about-town outfit. Picture this: swanky moon boots, a custom dark teal cabaret outfit, a clan-colored Christmas scarf, and a yellow Santa hat. That's the look. That's the energy. That's Gaius, walking through the game drawing positive attention to NORS with every step.

If you know him, you know he's been an adamant advocate of clans in this community for years — as a presence, as well as an integral founder. Someone who shows up. Someone who builds. Someone who, twenty years later, is still here.

🏠 LUMWOOD MANOR — BEFORE & AFTER

February (pre-update): The original Lumwood Manor tour. Raw, nostalgic, a little chaotic. Features include: a working combat ring, a games room, a dungeon, a butler , and a lot of love for a house that was already special.

August (post-update): The rebuild. The same dream, reimagined. Features include: a missing oubliette lever (building code doesn't allow surprise pit traps anymore), new furniture, new layouts, new glitches to laugh about - Gaius floating in a possessed armchair and peering from under his bed. The manor is bigger now — but it's still home.

💬 FINAL THOUGHT

Twenty years is a long time in any world — let alone Gielinor. But Gaius has been here for all of it, and he's still building. Still showing up. Still wearing a yellow Santa hat like it's the most natural thing in the world.

That's the kind of energy we're about.
