hey guys
This is my first time ever blogging so I'm just gonna talk about school.
So ever since I started school, I've always excelled. Never gotten a B before and I was just naturally smart for a while.
I am an incoming freshman and school starts in 4 days for me (Aug 24th) and I heard a LOT of stories of people who excelled in grade school, having their grades go down hill in high school.
I am super scared for school to begin because I have no idea what i'm doing and I'm hoping my grades don't go down especially for freshman year.
An even bigger reason that I'm scared of my grades going down is because of my classes.
I got AP World History: Modern, Honors Biology, Honors Geometry, Honors English 1, Honors Art 1, Spanish 2, and then obv PE.
I've done somewhat advanced work in middle school but AP?!
I had always wished for AP and Honors classes but reality is hitting and I don't know if I'm ready
SO! If anyone's got any tips or advice for an incoming high school freshman, that would be much appreciated but here's the girlblogging for today y'all

People who excelled a lot without trying in their younger years tend to falter once they get a curriculum that really challenges them because they don't yet have the foundational skills for things like test taking, note taking, studying, etc.
Learn those things at the start of the year while you still have a good grasp on content, not at the halfway point or even the end when you're about to take the final and have no notes and think studying is just reading the entire book in one sitting.
(I say this because that is exactly what happened to me my freshman year of university and my GPA is tanked because of it LMAO)
Thank you soo much!!! I've tried the Feynman technique for studying and it's rlly working for me!
