18/08/2026: some photos and some stories

two days ago: this was my setup! i stayed studying up until the two or three in the morning, feeling tired that day i decided to skip classes to study oncology some more and relax a bit. i went outside, smoked a little, and took some pictures on my way to the cafeteria! i would like to share with you some of them:

a beat up car for some, a 1950-55 chevy Bel-Air for me. it rests in a corner of my district that time seems to have forgotten, cradled in a shadow it has likely shared for months, even years.

there is a quiet tragedy in its stillness. the flattened tires and the contrast between a sober, weathered dark blue wrapping the exterior, trying to asphyxiate an unexpectedly playful yellow leather makes me wonder who would the owner of this fine piece of metal might be. who sat behind that wheel when the chrome still caught the sun? 

i guess we'll never know, lol

this was small underground canal near a park. it might appear big, but the fact is that i was almost laying in the floor while taking this picture to get that sense of scale. nature has a weird way of softening even the harshest and most aggressive structures, turning a forgotten drainage ditch into a very small display of something? i don't know what, but it is for sure something really pretty :P

a threshold that feels less like a door and more like an invitation (aka just a genuinely beautiful entryway xD). standing before it, i found myself captivated by the thought of what it must feel like to call a place like this home
