first time i succeeded in making cookies that are edible

i made cookies like twice before and they were very. questionably made. like if i sold those to ppl i would have the fda at my door. but today i had the urge to bake cookies with the cookie mix that has been sitting in my cupboard for a month. so i did the rational thing and baked some goddamn cookies lmao. although i was impatient with the butter and did NOT wait for it to soften completely so i was basically wrestling with the "dough" at the time. i also added too little butter. so i added more ACTUAL softened butter after i broke down the chunks of butter already in the mix and got the dough.

okay so then i baked it and the cookies were not burnt nor hard asf. they were soft chocolate chip cookies. and holy shit they are so damn good i love soft cookies. 

also the package said not to eat the raw dough but i ate a good pinchful of it haha.
