Watching a thunderstorm, plus coming up with gfx ideas!

I am watching a severe thunderstorm tonight occurring just outside my window... it seems like these sorts of storms are becoming more and more rare these days. Now if you might not know, I love severe thunderstorms! Storms with lots of lightning, gusty winds enough to make the house shake, a good downpour too! I especially enjoy them when they occur at night, when the lightning lights up the room, bright enough to turn of the lights mounted on the telegraph poles and so on. I always find them so relaxing! One day though, I fear I will never experience a thunderstorm again... oh well. For now though, I enjoy each and every storm!

Whilst I sit here, I am also trying to come up with ideas for new graphical packages for the weather system I run on various systems. I have re-created some rather retro styles, but I want to try something new... something experimental. I just have to find a good place to start, ya know?

Anyways, that is enough for this blog... hope to be able to put more thoughts down here for the public facing world. ~ Hirokí of StratoSTAR by HIRO
