Double post, sadly (ㆆ_ㆆ). I've been doing art since I was 4, so I've been doing this for 11 years now. I've had every phase: the YouTube art tut phase, the really bad anime phase where I tried to make everything cutesy, the 2020 phase with the weird x in the ears and everything. But I've still been struggling; I know that's mostly my fault since I hardly try to study art, but hell, I don't even study for school. I have a few OCs, but I can hardly draw them consistently; I don't even have an art style, and it always changes. I can't even be creative with my OCs ' backstories, and I barely know how to draw bodies or hands. And rendering/coloring KILLS ME, and I have so many artists I love on Insta, but they're all so good, and I don't think I'll ever be able to get to that point. I want to make my art into hopefully a career, but I don't see that happening at all. I wanted to be a concept artist for anime, games, or shows, but I genuinely think I'm gonna end up on the streets. And I don't see myself in college since I know I'll fail everything and probably fail my SAT or any other test. I have had A's and B's since middle school, but I don't see that lasting once I start sophomore year. I don't know; I might just end up a fucking bum. (¬_¬")
should i just stop doing art?

Don't ever stop making art!! No matter where you are in your art journey, the worst thing you could do is give up - especially considering u want a career out of it. If you have the energy (and maybe motivation) to practice anatomy, do it in whatever way you can!! If not, draw whatever you want, however bad it may be. Just draw anything, really. From your own imaginatin, or with references, or copying/someone someone else's works (for practice ofc), but just draw. Even if its stars, shapes, or those weirdcore eyes and mushrooms every tiktoker put in their sketchbook in 2020. Ofc if you want to get better and good, you need to practice a LOT, so if you perhaps have any classes nearby I'd go to those. If not, watch tutorials, maybe use books, and (I cannot say this more) use references. And go at your own pace!
I 100% believe you can make it as a working artist :)
(Wow I should also, maybe, follow this advice.. hm...)
