lots happenin'!!

I recently did an interview for Guitar Girl Magazine. Yes you read that right. My friend Caroline Paone is a freelance writer for various magazines, and she managed to get me in this one, so there you go! It has proven to be the best interview that I've ever been a part of. Friends and fans agree too. Of course, we talk about the music, gear, pedals, influences. But the big focus was on my take on women in music, especially metal. Secondly, the good folks at Orange Amplifiers (well, mainly my rep Ella Stormark) sent me a brand-new Super Crush 100 guitar head. I got to put it through its paces at rehearsal, and it does NOT disappoint! It's beefier and louder than the original CR120 (which I still love), and it's the first amp I've ever played where I use less EQ! I cannot wait to play live with this thing. It's amazing!

And last but not least, I will be filling in on lead guitar with the cover band Naked Glory for more shows, as their guitarist quit two weeks ago. They booked about 5 or 6 shows from now until April, so my schedule will be a bit more packed. Fine with me! I am hoping to get my own trio out there soon, maybe March/April. There is talk of my band playing a show in June but I can't reveal anything until the promoter says so.
