CHICKEN PLUSH OMGGG

If you've ever seen my profile, you might eventually come across the name Chenjie.

Chenjie is my plush chicken, and I love her more than I can really put into words. But there's actually a reason why I became so attached to chickens in the first place.

A while ago, while I was taking care of a farm, a dog got into the chicken coop and attacked the chickens. I tried to stop it, but I couldn't save them all.

Hearing the chickens crying while I was trying to help them affected me much more than I expected. After that, I developed a really strong emotional rejection towards anything involving animals being harmed, and over time it also contributed to my decision to become vegetarian.

It also made me develop a huge amount of affection for chickens. I started seeing them as these funny, sweet little creatures that I genuinely wanted to protect.

And that's where Chenjie comes in.

She's just a plush chicken, but to me she's much more than that. She's kind of a little reminder of why I care so much about chickens in the first place. 🐔💔

I have an absolutely ridiculous amount of pictures of her doing basically nothing, and somehow she still manages to make me happy every time I see her.

Maybe someday, if Chenjie ever comes to life, she'll realize just how important she has always been to me.

Until then, she can continue being my little plush chicken and existing peacefully.
