same old shit, but a different day

this week has been really testing my patience. i was running some errands outside of work for a couple of hours, and when i got back, that annoying prick was in our office, too. my other coworker shoved a phone up to my face to let me entertain another client on the phone. okay, cool, i don't mind. part of my job, right?

what irked me the most was that the client on the phone was just asking for our business info (i.e. phone number, email address), stuff that's openly available for anyone of us to access and locate, she simply just needed to check our business cards and relay it via call! i don't understand. why did she had to pass it on to me? i'd understand if her hands are full and she was super busy, but no, she simply went back to her desk to continue doodling on her mini sticky note. doodling.

i just got back and i'm already busy as hell, i was even disoriented because the snobby client was yelling at me for something i didn't know about (i wasn't the one he instructed and talked to earlier; it was my coworker who's now doodling on her desk), and to top it off, i had to apologize the other client on call and ask her what they were talking about earlier so i could get the gist of the situation.

anyway, karma got her ass when some work-related news hit her later that day which resulted in her putting in a tough spot.

and to make matters slightly worse, i came to find out that only 1 out of 3 members of my group did their part on the research. i hated taking the leadership role, but with the way how our group was moving, none of us wanted to take on the role and divide the tasks. i was too tired and too mad to even thinking about class related stuff, i simply just grabbed some snacks and laid in bed for a long while.

i'll let future me handle all these problems one at a time. my top priority at that moment was to destress and not think about anything for a bit. it's kinda icky that i keep blogging about work-related stuff but they're generally bad and it ended up with me complaining about what happened at work, but i couldn't help it!! i swear i'll blog more positive or neutral stuff that's happening to my life.

just a couple more days... i can't wait for the weekend!
