Poem I made for a guy made up in my head <3

Twisted sheets and cigarettes,

My form like mountains lying dead,

Beneath your sheets draped like silk,

Our thoughts woven together, intertwined quilt.

The Rolex on your wrist ticks and ticks,

That dark look in your eyes makes me sick,

Scarlet curtains and ebony walls,

Empty photo frames and echoing halls.

Theres people in this house, alive not living,

Yet the fire in your eyes ignite, they’re chilling.

Lying on your bed, I look up to the ceiling,

Against the royal wallpaper, chipped and pealing.

For a moment my pupils dilate to stars,

You scoff at my awe, you like your girls bizarre.

You put down your book, yet you turn the page,

Sitting across from me in a lowered gaze,

My eyes follow your arms as I come ablaze,

With my gaze trapped, a haze of anguish and amaze.

If you are despair then what does that make me?

Your temper is beautiful from what I can see.

That ring on your thump chains me to your glare,

Breathe echoing the room, more than I can bear.

My teeth on your lip until it splits,

As the Rolex on your wrist,

ticks and ticks.
