In short, I live in a small town, and next to us there is a village that has a hilly forest. There is also a road leading to a tourist area, and at the very top there is a cross. The road is only for people, and no cars pass on it, and often people from the village who have farm animals go there.

My brother told me about something that happened to him while he was walking through the forest.He came across a man who was out there with his sheep. They started talking for a while, just a normal conversation between two people who happened to meet in the woods. At some point, the man mentioned another person who sometimes walked through the forest. He said the man was looking for leather.

Apparently, he would walk around the area searching for pieces of leather that had been left behind or thrown away. According to him, it wasn't something that happened just once. He had apparently seen the same man doing it several times. My brother asked him what he needed the leather for. The man didn't really know. He just said that the guy was always looking for it.

That was pretty much the end of the conversation. There wasn't anything particularly strange about the man with the sheep. He wasn't acting scared or trying to tell some creepy story. He talked about it like it was just another thing that happened around the forest. That's probably why my brother remembered it. Because now I'm wondering what kind of person walks through a forest specifically looking for leather.

Maybe there's a completely normal explanation. Maybe he makes something from it, repairs clothes or equipment, works with animals, or collects old materials.
