Hail, noble folk.
I am Sir Soup of Seeberg, whose stronghold is also called Ostroh. I pen these words unto thee from the midst of Bohemia, in the year of our Lord fourteen hundred and thirteen.
I beseech thee, would any among thee take delight in discourse upon the manifold aspects of life in these medieval days, such as: suits of armor, arms and armaments, the evolution of hand-held bombards in Europe, the husbandry of beasts, the existence of the high-born, the architecture of castles, and the chronicles of famed personages?
Pray, inform me if I ought to establish this as a chronicle! I ask for I wish not to squander my endeavors in vain.
