Should I ask him out?

So, I have this guy that I am talking to. I don't mean like we talk generally and I have this insane crush on him; I mean like we flirt, we talk about what we want in a relationship, we've gone on a date, and we even kissed when he spent the night to binge the Twilight series because he wanted to see my favorite movies. 

Now that I am typing it all out, I feel like the answer is already there and that I should ask him out, but he said he wanted to take things slow. I mean, we have been talking for two months now, so is that an appropriate time frame to then ask someone out? 

Ugh, I don't know. I think I might? Maybe I will put together some of his favorite things in a gift basket and take him out, then ask him after? 

I have no idea. I'll keep you guys updated. 

UPDATE!! Guy's Thank you for the support! He comes back tomorrow from his family trip and I'm gonna ask him out again and ask him outttt. I'll let you guys know how it goes!
