Homeschooled kid going to public school for the first time soon maybe (ASKING FOR ADVICE)

So, I’ve been homeschooled my entire life right? And now I’m gonna go to public school soon (hopefully, if I get lied to again I’m gonna tweak). But there’s multiple issues. #1 and most importantly: due to being homeschooled and not talking to people besides my family or ppl online n stuff often my social skills are ASSCHEEKS, I cannot keep a convo going for the life of me. #2: I’m hype but I don’t know what’s coming to me, this is entirely new territory. #3: I live in a red state and I’m queer and trans, dunno if that’s gonna affect stuff but I felt like that was worth mentioning. 

Genuine question here, what do I do? Is there anything for me to expect?? What shouldn’t I do?? And how do I not get slimed out on my first day or jsut in general
