some movies I've seen recently

Hey!! I've kind of lost track of when I stopped posting movies, but I have my letterboxd so I'll try to update some new releases I've seen.

1. The Mandalorian and Grogu- I watched this back in May and I thought it was pretty good. A decent 4 just because I enjoyed it.

2. Stray Kids: The dominATE Experience- I actually bought this on Blu-Ray. I'm a huge Stray Kids fan so I really enjoyed it, but it was somewhat boring and the bts was less than I thought it would be. Decent 3 and half stars.

3. Hoppers- A surprisingly good movie, that Disney (per usual) definitely didn't advertise enough, especially where I live. I did really enjoy the plot and the characters. A good 4 stars.

4. Toy Story 5- I watched this with a couple of friends and I really loved it. It kind of made me look at my childhood a little bit different which I didn't expect. 4 Stars, although looking back maybe it was a 3 and a half.

5. Hadestown: The Musical- 5/5 amazing musical. I actually have no notes.

6. The Punisher: One Last Kill- Unfortunately, even being a Marvel fan who has watched The Punisher Series, I really didn't like it. It felt like a forced piece of the story to me just because the new spiderman movie is coming out. I think that maybe if I rewatch the series and then watch this afterwards I'd probably like it more, but for now 2 stars.

7. Masters Of the Universe- Genuinely could have been done better, there are a lot of choices with the movie that I personally would not have made. BUT that being said, this was actually so good. It has that charm that the original series definitely did. I honestly enjoyed the cheesy and campy-ness of it. 3 Stars.

8. Spider-Man: Brand New Day- I REALLY loved this movie. It was such a good direction for Peter, but also an amazing set up for the projects they're teasing. 5/5.

9. The Odessey- Is it really The Odessey? No. Was it an odessey. ABSOLUTELY! An incredible movie for being what it is. And while it isn't exactly the most accurate, it is one of my favorite retellings so far. 5/5.

10.The Sheep Detectives- An incredible movie, I didn't expect to cry over some freaking sheep but there I was bawling on my couch. 4/5.

11. Obsession- Um incredible, 5/5 no notes. I don't think I've felt this good about a horror movie since hereditary.

12. The Drama- An insane plot, but done in the best way possible. Robert Pattinson is genuinely incredible in this, he deserves an Oscar. 5/5

13. Leviticus- The theatrical run for this being so short is foul. Please go watch this movie it is actually incredible. 4 and a half.
