what is your biggest pet peeve:: *pulls out the google doc list and inhales* Something that actually bothers me so much is when someone responds with “me too” or "everyone does that" or the dreadful "same" when I vent or talk about something that's been bothering me or when someone tries to relate to me and say NOTHING else when i'd rather get support and comfort, it makes me feel completely invalidated and that they're basically saying everyone's feelings can’t be unique (only in SOME cases will i ever be okay with someone doing this. It can literally only depend on their tone of voice in which it will not bother me. They have to say it in a more comforting sounding way rather than a “YEAH WE ALL DO THAT WE ALL FEEL LIKE THAT SUCK IT UP YOU WHINEY BABY GET OVER IT” because that’s all i hear) saying “me too!” when we share a common interest is okay. This bothers me because we all as humans have our own unique feelings and experiences rather than just the same exact ones because how would we be humans if we all have the same exact feelings? Usually when someone says it with their own voice it doesn't bother me but for some reason when im reading it on a text it always sounds nasty for some reason especially when they arent saying anything else about it.
