Nicki Minaj

In a way I can relate to a theme of loyalty and moral conflict because I was a loyal fan of Nicki Minaj, but she recently came out and said some things that go against my values. It may seem silly but I really felt betrayed by this. This was a person I spent multiple years looking up to and admiring. At first I was so upset and disappointed that I stopped streaming her music and even blocked her on some platforms, but eventually I realized that I don’t have to agree with everything someone says to enjoy their music. Now I believe that life is too short to limit yourself by only enjoying artists that have the same political views as you. #yolo
