yesterday was one of those days that felt way longer than 24 hours.

i woke up early because it was my uncle's bachelor party. he's getting married soon, which still feels kind of strange to think about. we started with paintball and then went karting. i somehow did really well at paintball... landed a few headshots and probably got a little too competitive.

after that i met up with some friends and went out. we kept running into different people all night, so i ended up splitting from my group a couple of times and hanging out with others before finding everyone again.

i didn't drink much. i'd already stayed out until 9 a.m. the night before, so i wasn't exactly full of energy. i called it a night around 5 a.m., which almost felt early for once.

i spent the night talking to people i hadn't seen in a while, meeting new faces, dancing more than i expected and just enjoying everything without really thinking too much.

days like this remind me that sometimes the best nights aren't the ones you plan.

now i'm just tired.
