Ok guys, so my blog is still not done cuz I need to add color to the comments and do a little fine-tuning, but omg I HAVE to complain/boast.
So basically I wanted to add a banner to my profile cuz duh I love banners. I was literally looking everywhere on the internet searching for "Internet banners gif" because I'm lowk slow and forgot I can just get a rectangular picture and add it to my thingy as a banner.
Anyways, so I'm looking for a good thirty mins before I realize this and decide to be smart and just look for a picture on Pinterest bc I gave up on the gif idea. I find THE perfect picture (the banner on the top and bottom of this blog if u don't wanna look at my profile, but I'm gonna add ss anyways so u can c it there 2) and I'm literally ecstatic. I search up how to code a banner, get the code, input my picture, and look at my profile to c my beautiful work.
But for some reason it's not cute and how I imagined it.
No, instead it actually looks like a pile of dog shit.
The hearts are like cut off, and I can only c the middle of the picture. I realize it's because I stretched the main from only taking up like a third of my profile to filling up the whole thing, but wtv. That's fine because yk what? I'll just adjust the height. But then it's too big. That's fine, I'll just stretch the pic a little, but oops, I forgot I'm a complete beginner and don't know how to do that! Yk what? It's fine, my bsf W3Schools can help me.
W3Schools does not help me.
So here I am, fiddling with the sizes but realizing no matter what I do, the picture won't work. I literally sit there just fucking around with the code until I delete some random part of it and change the background size from "cover" to some random px sizes. I literally stare in shock because I had gotten the picture to shrink and tried repeating it with "background-repeat:repeat-x !important;", but that didn't work, so I had honestly been planning on giving up.
But somehow, by the grace of the gods, I figured out that changing the background-size got the picture to repeat, so instead of just covering half of my profile, it doubled and covered the rest of my profile. Idrk how to explain it without showing my profile, so here's some ss.
So this one is where some parts of the banner get cut out.
Here's where it only covers half.
And here the banner is way too big.
Finally, this is the finished product!
When I tell you I almost cried with joy when I saw the final results, but hey! I still did it all by myself ദ്ദി( T ᗜ T )
Also, I'm a total idiot because while making this blog, I refreshed and lost everything I wrote bc I'm stupid (。•́︿•̀。). Writing this all again, putting the files on my Mac back on imgBB to get the code to the ss, and re-reading what I wrote a million times to make sure I didn't write anything dumb was so tedious, and I'm so mad at myself for it but yk what? I got the blog out, and that's all that matters ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و ♡.
Also, this is a re-upload! I couldn't c the pictures on the og blog for some reason, so I copied and pasted the code and uploaded it again.
Edit: I'm kinda slow guys the reason y the picture wasn't showing is bc I had the picture on ImgBB auto-delete so it just showed an ImgBB image (。ᵕ ◞ _◟)

I'm very glad that you found a way to fix your issue, in my opinion it's pretty nice. However, regarding what you mentioned about the comment box, I noticed how you don't quite yet have fixed that in your profile, so I'll give you a hint on some of the root qualities that may help you out. For example here is the root qualities for your interests and comment table boxes:
--even-lighter-blue: #000; (In your interest boxes, ex. general box)
--lightest-blue: #000; (In your interest boxes' details)
--light-orange: #000; (for your comments' pfp background)
--even-lighter-orange: #000; (for your comments' details box background)
The light orange also affects how the background of your headings (blurbs + friends' section) will look like, so maybe keep it in mind when changing the color of it. You can pick a different color for it separately if you set it yourself.
Also very random feature that you may like or may not like, I don't know, but you can also change the red in your count. For example it says "14 friends", you can actually change the count color to be something else. Using:
.count {
color: #000;
}
I think you know how to use HEX codes, but just in case, I've set #000 as the color, which translates to white. But you can change it to whatever you like.
Very cute blog and cute profile though.
