Is the world losing it's creativity?? (what are we doing?)

Hiii!! My name's lydd! I have already made a similar blog (Is the world losing it's colour??) and a comment inspired me to make this one too.

Getting to the point, have you seen cars nowadays?? An example of a 2026 car is this. Not many carves, colours, or anything that stands out, right? Pretty minimalistic. Compared to the first made (kind of similar to today) cars, like this one, that has carves,colours AND a character, the 2026 one, in my opinion, is boring. 

First of all, what is minimalism  ??

Minimalism is a type of lifestyle focused on living with what is essential and consciously reducing what is unnecessary, both in material terms and in our daily habits. In this sense, it is a philosophy that prioritises simplicity, moving away from excessive consumerism while supporting the environment

In my opinion, minimalism is not a "bad" thing. Some of the things it promotes are good, (moving away from excessive consumerism, supporting the eniviroment). Of course, prioritising simplicity is good too, sometimes. Our lives are so chaotic! If everything were maximalistic, we would go crazy! But making EVERYTHING simple? For me, it's a no. Personally maximalism  makes me so happy! E.g Those houses that are not just grey, beige or white walls, a sofa and a TV etc But have colourful walls, posters, a lot of homemade with love house accessories... They have more character, you know?

And what is maximalism anyways? 

In the arts, maximalism is an aesthetic characterized by excess and abundance, serving as a reaction against minimalism. The philosophy can be summarized as "more is more", contrasting with the minimalist principle of "less is more".

And, let's just say that in the concept of us having chaotic lives, some people prefer minimalistic decoration in their houses. BUT MINIMALISM IN ART TOO?? Here's an example. ART IS A WAY OF SELF EXPRESSION! ART WAS THE FIRST WAY HUMANS COMMUNICATED! IT IS SUPPOSED TO REFLECT OUR SOUL, OUR THOUGHTS! That's why there's no such a thing as AI "art" (IT'S NOT ART, I WON'T MAKE UP MY MIND ON THIS ONE, AND I HAVE SAID IT BEFORE!). 

Making everything with AI, not only SERIOUSLY harms the enviroment, but it also takes the uniqueness and the character of an object away. A drawing, for example, made from a human, even if is considered as "bad" has more character than an art made from a literal ROBOT. 

Stop using AI, or make everything minimalistic unnecessarily, you take the uniqueness of this world away.
