Hi, some clarification

This is essentially don’t believe the shit you see on here part 4. TLDR for people with no attention span, the owner of friendrewind did not agree to have his site be guerilla-advertised on here & is asking for people to stop spreading misinfo about him and his site, as he isn’t the one behind the blogs being spammed to the top.

What is friendrewind?

A site made by defect that is a MySpace clone. However, it has its own features that MySpace DIDNT have, like video games and a discord-esque group chat function.

IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH GOAT. Goat is simply a user on that site who happens to still have mega beef with SpaceHey and Napoleonite (another site that he used to constantly bump up here a month ago.)

Defect has told me to clarify that he never agreed to have friendrewind advertised like this & he does not condone the bumping of blogs advertising his site. Aka, he isn’t the one behind these blogs and he doesn’t condone it. He can’t do anything abt these blogs because he owns friendrewind, not spacehey.

Should I join friendrewind? Is it better than spacehey?

Bruh nobody is forcing you to do anything. I personally use it because I can talk to people my age there, as it’s much tougher to find ppl on here who arent younger teens. A lot of my friends still use SpaceHey because to them, it is much more organised and less buggy, which I agree with. I think both are good in their own ways. To each their own! Use whatever you want to use. Don’t make an account somewhere just to have it rot and be inactive. If you think that it sounds interesting to you, go for it. But if you need to keep asking others if it’s better and if you don’t want to join, stay on SpaceHey :-) nobody cares if u are or aren’t on it bruh; talk to the ppl that make you happy and use whatever site that makes you feel the best about yourself.

Both of em got their pros and cons, I’m not here to put one over the other.

Who is goat?

Max, aka 666, aka goat, aka b0b, aka taog aka a bajillion different aliases to ban evade, was a SpaceHey user who essentially faked his entire popularity on SpaceHey for a year. He had beef with me about 2 years ago or so, which caused me to leave SpaceHey for about half a year, and under that time, he gained a lot of (fake) popularity by spamming his blogs to the top of blogs and pushing others out. Later, he became a napoleonite mod and began to spam blogs about napo to the top of SpaceHey after getting banned on SpaceHey. Then, he had a major falling out with moderators and was booted from the napo mod team, which incited even more napo blogs to be boosted to the top of blogs on here.

Now that he thinks he is a friendrewind celebrity, he is spamming posts promoting friendrewind to the top of SpaceHey blogs, as seen with his blog from yesterday before he got banned again: https://web.archive.org/web/20260727130802/https://blog.spacehey.com/entry?id=2205999

He is not associated with the developer or admin of friendrewind in any way. He is literally just a user of the friendrewind site, nothing more nothing less. He’s been the little puppet master of spacehey’s top blogs since like 2025 or some shit

Is friendrewind AI?

I can’t answer that personally, since I didn’t code it, I’m just a person who happens to use the site, but defect told me in DMs that quote:

“I have been building it for 3 years and released it in 2025.”

(I can provide evidence of him saying this if you all would like, but if so, I must ask for permission first because this was in a private message to me.) 

He has also repeatedly stated that the site was not coded with AI in his statuses

Whether or not you choose to believe it, that is up to you. I see a lot of the AI accusations both on here and on friendrewind too, so if anybody knows the root of why they think it’s AI, I’m really interested to know, is it the UI or is it the way that the site itself is coded that is making ppl suspicious? 

(Idk much about coding an ACTUAL site; mf I just make layouts and write blogs lol but I do actually wanna know how to spot an AI coded site.)

Is friendrewind a scam?

No? Not really, at least in my opinion. It is literally just another MySpace clone like friendproject or napo. Yes, it has bugs here and there as any site does. (I don’t think it was built for this much popularity though, imo.) 

There haven’t been any security breaches yet & so far, moderation has dealt w/ any issues promptly.

Also, in terms of site stats and ppl being suspicious about the amount of users, remember that the site has been live and accepting users since 2025. It’s not at the size of SpaceHey, but with the publicity it gets on TikTok and on here as well, a lot of people are gonna join it, resulting in a ton of accounts but not as much activity, bc again, people will just abandon their accounts. And this is on ANY site, including on SpaceHey too. SpaceHey has over 2M users, but it doesn’t feel like it. It doesn’t mean it’s botted tho. Ppl just leave their accounts behind (kinda like I am rn)

This is just general advice for spacehey users, just don’t fucking interact w any of these blogs. You’re giving goat the attention he wants and giving negative publicity to a guy who never agreed to have his site put on full blast. Again, defect never wanted this to happen.

I’m giving goat the attention he wants through this as well, but bruh we don’t need more beef between sites. Friendrewind literally has nothing to do w SpaceHey or napo or goat or any of this shit, stop dragging every single MySpace clone into fights on here.

Let ppl use whatever they want to use in peace; I’m out and will stay out of here unless some crazy shit happens that I have enough knowledge on to talk about & clarify.

Also yes I am gengar, aka “the”. I’ve made callouts on goat in the past and it fucking baffles me that so many of you STILL do not understand that to fight him, you either ignore him or use his own ego against him & get your own post bumped to the top & edit it when it’s too late to  get back down.
