the ways in which life is like a game of baseball

old dudes are always going on about how it used to be better.
staying high and inside is sometimes the best option.
your back hurts after a while and once you're in your 30s? forget about it!
the rules seem arbitrary but once you get used to them, you still wonder who thought some of this was a good idea.
the unwritten rules are even more arbitrary and no one tells you about them until you break them.
hot dogs and beer are too expensive. should be like a buck each. don't even get me started on tickets and transportation.
it's mostly about constantly losing with endless grace & patience, until you get frustrated and throw your hat on the ground and kick it at a guy.
mr. met is coming to gut you like a fish.
