Person driving car with no taillights

I have been seeing more and more vehicles going down the road at night with no tail lights. I know what is happening. The vehicle has daytime running lights and the driver thinks that they have their headlights on. What I recommend that everyone does is what us truck drivers have to do and that is a pre-trip. Before you start driving, take a walk around your vehicle and make sure that your lights are on and working. If you do not have your lights on and someone hits you, you could get a ticket and be found guilty. Also, if a police officer sees you without taillights or that you have a light out, you could get a ticket. Avoid a ticket and an accident and make sure your lights are on before you drive.
