Can/Should you post/promote YouTube videos here?

I don't think it's a secret that you can embed YouTube videos here. On PlanetMinecraft, for example, there's a dedicated field alongside blog posts where you can enter YouTube video IDs. I'm wondering if that would be acceptable here, or if it would misuse the purpose of the blogs and whether the "Bulletins" feature might be better suited for that. I'd be interested to hear what you all think about it.
