i dont think dess is the knight. lemme ramble nonsensically for a min
like findher.ogg is in black knife + other stuff relating to the knight i think (???) so shes definitely obviously connected but like . i dont think shes the knight it would be wayyyyyyyyyyy too obvious. knowing tricky tony, theories are never right and he always comes up w way more bizarre shit we could never think of (ch5 snowgrave makes the snowgrave fanmade videos look corny n even those were terrrifying), and when theories ARE ever right (which is super rare!!) its just a super small part of it that kindaaa fits canon. so dess being the knight herself prolly definitely most certainly weont happen. its gotta be something else
i think friend is also connected in a way? cuz like. theyre both mostly black sprites with a white outline . which could be a nothingburger but i think thats something. i also dont think carol is the knight even if shes also connected, i at least thijnk she wanted 2 be the mayor so she could have access to the shelter to make a dark world there or sumthing idfk i dont have much to say abt carol regarding the knight/dess
i dont have much evidence but i think friend killed dess and is either using her body as a vessel in an emperor belos + grimwalker way like in toh (like the body is literally rotting as hes controlling it and he had to get to the titans heart to gain control over everything before the body fell apart. i think this would be so gnarly w/ friend and dess. like. trying to start the roaring so it can exist easier in the light world cuz i imagine the roaring would just make hometown one big dark world. and its manipulating kris and carol into thinking its the only way to bring dess back.), or its just mimicking what she looked like if not that. kris is obviously another target of friend (the cat bite thing, wont specify much cuz i dont wanna spoil ch5) so it might go after them next idfk. like if previously mentioned the body does fall apart and it needs another vessel
human dess is also a rlly good theory, i think it mightve gone after her cuz human souls are seen to be very powerful. i think shes a human cuz she has shoes in her room somewhere and the rest of her family has hooves. could also be how the dreemurrs and holidays became close cuz their families had the only 2 humans in hometown. irrelevant but another theory i saw was that she was running away from home and went to live in the shelter in a similar way tht susie is living in castletown. idk whatever
or maybe the real dess is trapped in the code ands the knight is just a shell of her former self but i dont believe much in that theory
