On July 13, 2026, I attended the Marilyn Manson concert in Bari, Italy. It was my first concert ever, and I really started with a bang. I used my youth bonus to buy tickets for myself and my boyfriend. I was so lucky that just a week before the concert, I found that pit tickets were still available!
Since I recently dyed my hair red, I based my makeup on the Mechanical Animals era, so blue eyeshadow and red lipstick. Shoutout to the Haus Labs Atomic Shake Lip Lacquers for lasting the entire night! Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get a picture of my outfit, but Manson and I were basically dressed the exact same way, sheer black top, harness, and leather bottoms ahahah.
My boyfriend and I took a city bus to get to the concert, and we luckily caught it just in the nick of time! In the meantime, we ran into a group of guys who immediately realized we were going to the show and asked us for help finding the right bus. It’s so cool being part of the alternative scene and instantly bonding like that! Once we got on the bus, we met another guy who had pit tickets just like us, and we ended up spending the entire concert with him, making a really great friend.Â
We got in line around 5 PM, cheersed with a beer, and then waited under the sun for an hour. When the doors opened at 6 PM, we managed to score a spot right in the front row!!! At 8 PM, the opening band, the Vowws, started playing; a truly insane goth/dark wave group. My favorite song that totally got stuck in my head was Re-Animator.
The absolute highlight of the night was when Manson stood right in front of me, looked at me, and then pointed at me while singing!!! I couldn't believe my eyes, but once the concert was over, my boyfriend confirmed what I saw. The best 5 seconds of my life!
The beginning of the show was pretty chill, but some guy got right between my boyfriend and me, separating us. At one point, I dropped my earring and couldn't put it back on. Right then, another guy turned around to apologize because he thought he was elbowing me, so I took the opportunity to ask him for help with the earring. I think he totally misread the situation, though, because he made up an excuse to ask for my number. My boyfriend behind me didn't even notice, but our friend did, so he told my boyfriend to pass me some water to make it clear to the guy that I wasn't alone. And he definitely got the hint after that ahahah. By the fourth song, I think the mosh pit started behind us because people were crushing me so hard. There was this incredibly annoying girl who kept getting behind us, bending over to push. She even pulled my boyfriend's hair, and when he turned around, she literally stroked his head (?!). At one point, just to get further ahead, she tried to crawl between his legs... Then a man joined in, using the crowd's pushing to wedge himself in front of people, so my boyfriend had to fight again not to get pushed out of the way ahahah, he was basically a target. All that chaos kept me from enjoying so many songs... During my favorite, mObscene, I literally felt like I was in a blender. The absolute worst part, though, was my phone. After just two videos, a "storage full" message popped up. I quickly deleted almost all the apps on my phone, but I only managed to record two more videos, seriously?! After the concert, we met up with a group of friends who were there but had arrived later, just to say hi. We didn't know there were city buses running at midnight to get back home, so we ended up walking for over an hour. At least we were with our new friend, so we didn't get bored on the way. By the time we got to my boyfriend's place, we were starving, and there was nothing filling to eat in the house, so we grabbed a wrap. I would have preferred to celebrate with a ton of beer, but oh well!
I miss that day so much already. It was an incredible, unforgettable experience that definitely changed me a lot. In that moment, I completely let loose and forgot about all my worries. Hearing songs like Great Big White World, As the Secrets Within, The Nobodies, and Exit Wounds live hits so different. Truly emotional! He was absolutely amazing. His vocals were outstanding, and he performed with so much energy. He has truly made a massive comeback after that dark period; he couldn't have rebooted his career any betterđź–¤

Its really disappointing to see people still supporting this kind of artist.
Marilyn Manson isnt a good person at all : he released a movie that has been canceled no longer after because the scenario was basically him raping a fan. And multiple women accused him because of sexual abuse and harassment.
kind of weird coming from you, supporting Lovecraft, a big ass racist. good job 👍
