Making a comic can be really draining :/

Yeah soo, this is my first ever blog entry (I feel like a teen in the 2000s lmao), but I just wanted to write about smth because why not.

I wanna make a comic crossover between two franchises tht I love so much and I've had that idea since I was 12-13. I started drawing the first page in December of 2024 and I did make progress but I'm very very slow, especially bc I'm doing evrything on my own. I wanna use these few months I have left before college to try and finish the prologue, but when I sit down and actually try to do smth I end up not being able to figure out how to draw a certain panel, how to position characters and more annoying stuff. High school drained me and every year was super busy so I didn't have time to work on it as much as i should have. My parents are almost always home and since I don't want them to know that I am making a comic (I get nervous bc they will think it's a waste of time), I can't concentrate bc someone always interrupts me.

I don't wanna give up but I feel like I will never finish it. I thought of writing it in a form of fanfiction as well in case the whole comic thing becomes too much for me. Hopefully I'll be able to dedicatemore time to it once I move out for college with my best friend.

no creative medium is easy to work with pro of comics is you show more so less descriptive writing and can do action easier con so much more drawing regardless of what medium dont give up no creator enjoys their creative process but seeing the finished product will be all worth it

thank you so much for your kind words, and as for the comic I'll just say that it's a crossover between two things that I really really like, but I don't wanna reveal anything until I finish the prologue, which will happen soon (hopefully)
