A very short encounter with a strange phenomena, a memoir from when the creator lived in Huizhou, Guangdong.
There is barely anything to say about this game at a first glance, the story (if you can call it that) feels like a memory you vaguely remember. However, if we are to look at what this visual novel was a submission for, some things make a bit more sense. "smilejam" was a jam that ran through the 4th of May 2026 to the 18 of May 2026, and the core theme of the jam was to not spend a lot of time of the game. There was also an optional theme called "your first memory", which was to make a game based on a real memory. The creator of this game stated that this is a memoir to when they encountered a strange phenomena while living in China. In the game near the end, there is a strange sound coming from the door. The mc sees everything through the lens of a camera, but for some reason, the camera cannot see anything this time.
Anyone who enjoys a light mystery and a very short game for a 5-minute break from life is sure to like this one!
