Hello, I'm working on a presentation about spacehey and how visuals are used in order to express digital identity.
If you have time, i'd be thankful if you could answer the questions below.
1. How do you decide on the overlay of your profile such as colors and decoratives?
2. Would you like someone's first impression of you (on spacehey) to be based on the information about you or the aesthetic you create on you profile?
3. While customizing your blog, are you more focused on attracting people to befriend or expressing your feelings and identity?

1. its a mixture of things I like n js whatvr seems 2 fit 2 my eye. for example, the blue grads i chose as my profile's main color seems pleasing 2 my eye but the floatin Hatsune Miku sticks out like a sore thumb but I still choose to keep her simply cuz i like her
2. def the former. aesthetics r kewl n all, but in the end of the day im a person, not an aesthetic. if anyone went on 2 try n guess my personality thru my profile's presentation, they wouldnt b anywhere near 2 mine.
3. my feels r a first. always. compliments or criticisms, this is smth i do for me n me alone

1. i want my profile to be funky, out of place, pothooks and hangers.
other than that, i find a pattern of one of my interests for my background and go from there. i always want a unique colour palette.
2. leaning on the information side. though i do enjoy profile compliments, id like us to have something in common.
3. expressing feelings n identity! i always go back to my old blogs to just for memories sake. my intent when blogging is never but to be a memory i can look back on and see that people care by the amount of kudos and comments.

i personally dont care so much for first impressions but i feel my profile is a guud reprisentation of my furst impression meeting ppl at social events which i relly like !!! :-F

I decided on tha overlays using photos/gifs i had alred saved in my gallery & online becoz i relly like collecting fun & colourful gifs & icons they make me soOO happey ^_^ !!!! i felt that they reprisented my life & style

I decide based on how I feel, mostly it comes from the song I choose to put on my profile and then I just choose the colour scheme that feels right for it. As for decoratives, I try to choose them to be true to me, as in they show who I am.
I would want someone's first impression to be the information about me but realistically it's probably the aesthetic of my profile. The aesthetic is the first impression and based on it you choose to read someone's profile or not. At least that's what I think it's like.
When I make my profile I focus more on expressing myself. I wouldn't want to be friends with someone who won't like me as a person so I express myself through my profile so that people can choose whether they wanna talk to me or not.

1- I only things that go well together, even though things eventually get out of hand with the images.
2- I’d like the first impression to be based on the information in my profile.
3- When I customized my blog, I focused more on things that represented me, I suppose and also on how I was feeling.
