just a quick yammer-session to say these thoughts in my head. they're rattling around like ping-pong balls in one of those lotto ticket reading machines and i need ur help with it
ok so i just CANNOT seem to make my mind up about which aesthetic to...choose? vibe with? integrate?? whatever the word is. for a while, frutiger aero (one of the most prevalent aesthetics in the 2020s due to ppl waking up and rebelling against the enshittification of the internet) really stuck with me, but then i dug a little deeper and saw that frutiger metro (its slightly more "urban" sister) was more accurate to MY childhood. GRAAAAAH but THEN i thought scene/scenecore is super-cool too for its unapologetic standpoint on self-expression and freedom thereof! plus i like bright colors (perhaps a paradox for me, being autistic n all) but NOW i'm starting to give a second look to stuff like pastel goth and superflat pop!
but ANYWAY, this leads me to my big question: how do i decide which aesthetic out of the dozens of fashion styles, accessories, personalization options, etc. to go with? or...do i have to pick any at all?
any answer would be greatly appreciated. p.s. i also draw! so there's a good chance these aesthetics could affect my work :D

No need to pick. Putting yourself in a box is limiting to creativity. Who knows? You might create your own aesthetic.

Personally I don’t think you have to pick, as it were. I think you should just do what makes you happy, and not limit yourself because something you want is in another aesthetic. Express yourself how you see fit. Nobody else is expressing you.
