mermaids

i wish i was a mermaid. maybe a blue one, blue isn't even my favorite color. in my mind i have my favorite things picked out but what if they are not my favorite things? it's ok its all always ok. if i want to be a blue mermaid i can be a blue mermaid and nobody can tell me otherwise. i feel happy in the water, if i was in the water with my friends my life would be fulfilled. the hair of my friends floating down their back as we swim off. we'd swim anywhere anytime and we wouldn't be filled with regret. we would be together and we would be happy. i want the water we swim in to be filled with life as being alone tends to scare me. i just want to be with my friends. not wet and cold on land, but together as we were supposed to be at the start i don't want it bittersweet i cannot handle it all on my own.
