Selling a Car Debacles

People of the SpaceHey community, if I can give you one piece of advice in life. PLEASE TAKE YOUR PLATES WHEN SELLING A CAR

I sold my car to people I swore were good people and were nice. I was moving to a different state so I didn’t need the plates so I was like well you guys can just drive it right over to get it registered to you and return my plates while you’re at it because you can’t drive it without plates. I figured what’s the harm well it in fact was the harm lol.

7 months later I get a phone call from a cop: “Heya man we found your car abandoned and all the doors open in a city” panicking I looked out my window and saw my car. “What you talking about?” Turns out these ass cheeses KEPT my plates so it was still registered to me. FUCK so I decided to try to go to the inpound lot and turns out it was already picked up. “Wdym it’s picked up if it’s MY car” “well they had some document” BITCH it’s my responsibility if it goes in a joyride but they can still take it??

And I found a bunch of tickets in my name too. 

Now here I am in court a second time trying not to pay tickets and essentially I’m just trying to tell y’all that you should always keep your plates. Thanks if you want more details if the story let me know
