I haven't gotten out of bed since summer started, and I feel disgusted in myself for doing so. I just don't have anything to do. I mean I call my friends and play games with them, but that's about the only human interaction I've had outside my family. I even suggested to one of my family members that I'd get a summer job so I wasn't inside every day, but they said something about how I don't even like doing chores so I'd suck at it (or something along the lines of that) but I actually want to go out. I like going out, I like shopping, I'd love to do something with my family but even if I had that freedom, I get so insecure about myself that I scare myself out of going. What's worse is that summer is almost over and I'll have no choice to go out. I don't know if I'm just being overdramatic or overthinking and being insecure or if somethings really wrong with me
Vent??? Idk

If you want to go out, treat it like a business negotiation. It's just gonna be you and your brain. You gonna ask yourself what are some acceptable conditions for you to go out.
Maybe your brain says no to straight up socialising but how about just drinking tea/coffee/lemonade in the garden or on the porch?
Maybe you can negotiate the amount of people. Like what's worse for you? A lot of people or not enough people? Try to identify whichone is more comfortable for you. Would going out in that time of the day help? Like for example you know that you feel more comfortable getting lost in a crowd, so going at peak times may help you feel more comfortable. So brain may say no to going somewhere at noon, but 5pm when the place is busy and everyone is minding their business is an acceptable option
Maybe your brain says not alone but if someone went with you? Then you can see if any friends are nearby and want to go get a dessert?
These are just starting point ideas, but you will eventually find something that makes you go fair enough. And if not, well. Then it's not the end of the world. Tomorrow is a day to try too. Or next year. And that's a very valid conclusion too.
