you could've left me in my peace, undisturbed

its almost as if that's what you were after

my calm mind to ease yours..

but i was so blinded i couldn't see it at first..

i thought you left me breathless,

but it was you taking my air leaving me breathless.

i thought you were the anchor keeping me grounded, 

it was you keeping me down in the same place you found me-

now my mind no longer sits in silence- my thoughts are too crowded..

i thought the way you loved me was sweet,

i never saw that the only one in love was me

i wish you would've just left me in my peace..

undisturbed.

i wrote this like 5 years ago, this was the 2nd poem i had ever written. not perfect but it helped me when i wrote it..
