finally moved to france,,,, pics and thoughts from my first day ouuuut

i. finally. did it.

for reference, i have been trying to move back to france for 2 years now!!! i've lived in miami for most of my life and haven't been back to france for 11 years. i legit do not remember squat.

for the most part my flight was okay, i was really nervous (not even sure what for) but everything turned out just fine. i really liked the airplane food. my phone died as i had got on the plane and my charger wasnt compatible with the outlets... sux. i watched little miss sunshine (pretty good!), the 3 random episodes of glee they had, and listened to george michael's faith album 3 times.

my sister and aunt came to pick me up from the 'port and ive been staying with them for now.. so cool... the view is genuinely insane???

yuuup dats the eiffel. not pictured but to the left is the sacre coeur

today i woke up next to my sister and we sat around for a bit- i had my first glass of french milk (i am obsessed with milk) and it blew my miiiind. we had kebabs for lunch when my brother came by. french kebabs are INSANELY different from american ones. theyre sandwiches! is that just a french thing???? it was so good and i genuinely stuffed my freakin gob. it came smeared in white sauce (some type of yoghurt sauce) and samurai sauce (something crazy spicy???) and it was sooooo guuud. we then went to the foundation louis vuitton cus it was the only museum still open cus of the heatwave since they had ac. it was okay.... not the biggest fan of the pieces really. i HATED the circus exhibit..... sorry. parisian public transport is really interesting, we took a lotta busses and the tram i think its called.

probably my favorite piece if i had to pick / doesn't that look like zekrom??? am i crazy??

some things that really surprised me is how much more lively it is than miami- which is weird. at least what i mean by lively is the amount of bustling nature. theres so much foliage and just plants and its beautiful. i saw so many animals. i love pigeons, and i saw so many bees, and bumblebees which i've just never seen in miami- maybe thats my fault. we also saw some insanely giant crows which were AMAZING. it was really obvious they were getting affected by the heat though. everything feels so small. the streets and cars, the streets, the buildings. especially the height of the buildings!! as you could see everything is pretty level other than the eiffel... and that jarring fat skyscraper in the center of the pic. my sister joked that it's the best view of paris because you cant see it when youre in there. the AC thing is so interesting. i kinda like it.... it means all the windows and crap can be wide open. i LOVE an open window. also, theres a loooot of these little ad boards- but theyre PAAAPER!! isnt that so cool??? like theyre posters which roll to reveal a new ad. i rather have no ads at all but i find those quiiiite charming. theres way more stuff i've been wowed by but thats all i can really think of right now. and the food- the food is insane.

after we got back from the museum i took a nap face down and woke up 30 minutes later and hopped in an uber with my pop and sister and we moseyed on down to rex theatre. we were gonna watch odyssey, and i learned after this was one of the actual true FILM screenings... my fault. anyway we got there to go meet my brother. i shit you not. there was a line down a whole (parisian) block and around the corner. we got to talk to an employee which confirmed there were 2500 OF US.... anyway we went and got ramen and crepes instead because that shit would of stunk like odysseus's crammed ass ships. mind you seats were NOT assigned so it would of genuinely been a mess considering we were 5. whatever bro the crepes were banging. we also got to visit the front of the club my dad used to dj/work at when he was my age.....

ain't it quaint?

anyway we then went home and now is now! i've been moved to my little cousins room for tonight. when i'm done with this blog i think i'm going to watch "la haine" cus its been on my watchlist for a while but my cuzzo has a poster of it so now i HAVE to watch. i'm still getting used to this new timezone..... 6 hours ahead of miami!!! its only 5pm for them right now.. i miss my friends

so there’s quinn and she’s pregnant and everyone thinks it’s her boyfriend finn’s but it’s actually pucks and she can’t decide if she wants to raise it with pucks or finn or just give it to mr shoe’s wife who is lying about being pregnant to him and he’s battling with sue about the club and also rachel had a crush on him but then moved on to finn and dressed up all grease to get him with the “help” of kurt who is also in love with finn and was given the idea by quinn when she was trying to decide if puck should be the dad but then gives up the idea because when they were babysitting he was sexting santana…… okay

I'm so glad you're having fun!! I went to foundation louis vuitton too once and you're right, it's pretty boring (ᴗ_ ᴗ。) it's kind of entertaining to read about someone who's used to living in America talk about Europe (˶˃𐃷˂˶)
