AHHH!! This is such a big day for me!!! Gender affirming care is so hard to come by where I live cuz there's basically only ONE clinic that offers consultations in the entire country. They're usually booked for the entire year as soon as the year starts. BUT I ACTUALLY GOT ONE THIS TIME!!! THIS DECEMBER!!!
I've still got a long way to go before I can actually medically transition (see: transphobic household) and, in this economy, it would probably take me years to afford housing, let alone HRT. I keep thinking to myself: I'm already 22 and I'm nowhere near medically transitioning. A lot of my friends from overseas were able to transition well before they even turned 19. And I'm really happy for them!! But I can't help but think about how the best case scenario for me is to get on T by the time I'm 26. I'll never get to be a teen boy.
BUT ANYWAY this post isn't about that :) I'm here to celebrate my first steps to medically transitioning!! No matter how small!!
Thanks for reading this far!! Cheers!!!

CONGRATULATION!!
Also I feel you about the not being able to transition. I also have friends that were able to transition super young and I often need to manually remind myself that those are exeptions and most people trantitions in their adulthood.
But anyway, I hope everything goes well!!
YEAH THAT'S TRUEE!!! its easy to open social media and see everyone celebrating their transitions younger than me (AS THEY SHOULD) but i gotta remember that's just the content the algorithms pushing yk.. connecting with the community here i realized there's a ton of us (even trans men past 30) who haven't started T!! WE ARE ALL ON OUR OWN JOURNEY!!! AND THANK U SO MUCH ALSO!!!!!! HIHIHIHI
