Entry: Summer news

Hi everyone, i haven't been updating this blog since march and i owe some apologies to the people who liked reading my posts.

I am not a NEET anymore and i'm trying to find a stable job - as of right now, i work at a thrift store and it's very nice. Me and my coworkers have some ups and downs but satisfying clients makes me really happy. All i want is to make someone happy.

I've been hospitalized for 2 weeks in may and they let me keep my phone, i wanted to write about all the things i went through but i thought it would've been too personal. The nurses were very nice to me and they understood my situation really well. It was hard to deal with poor mental health and an eating disorder, but i did it, i think i'm finally getting better.

I now have the phone numbers of a bunch of nice people and four days ago i went to a convention with them. It was lovely, i was dressed like a total normie but the cool cosplayers didn't care. My friends are younger than me so i was kind of like a babysitter in that moment, making sure everyone was ok and keeping an eye on the older men talking to one of my friends. Luckily they were just photographers.

I was supposed to see The Cure in June, but the tickets were too expensive, ouch. Atleast i have CDs. Speaking of CD and vinyl, yesterday i bought a Miles Davis Quintet record. Both my father and I love jazz.

I am now more active on my RYM (thursdayfourteenth) and i redownloaded Letterboxd (my username is untitledfriday), my hobby of reviewing things came back last year. And my cat turned four years old! Milla will be forever in my heart, she saw me go through all my awkward teenage phases - buzzcuts, long hair, acne, my first facial hair growth, and me occasionally shaving my mustache and plucking my thick eyebrows. I am very grateful to have my kitty in my life. She likes to sleep in my bed with me when i'm sad. She feels it.

I've been doing lots of DIY's, getting better and better at it - also trying to learn gabber and other rave-style dances.

Still goth, of course. Been experimenting with androgynous fashion recently. Bought a jacket so long it can also be used as a dress, and the womens section in stores definitely has better stuff than the mens. Luckily almost everything fits me, except maybe some kind of jeans.

I'm spending my summer working. And making playlists. What are you guys up to? I'm curious to hear.
