sorry to necro, but the xx30s were the last thinkpads to have official windows xp drivers. found a t430 lying around the house a couple months ago and just need to get a power supply (and probably a new hdd or ssd) for it.

HOW old? And for what purpose I main a dell latitude e6430 and I actually quite like it and it works well for what I need it to do
Light gaming
Video editing
Low poly 3d modeling
Some coding and such
I recommend looking into the dell latitude series as they are pretty repairable and modular especially the older ones
Also the IBM thinkpads which have a cult fanbase I believe there's even some mods that add crazy stuff like adding 32gb DDR5 and a 3060 GPU
it completely slipped my mind to specify how old omg xD sorry!
i've actually thought about getting a dell computer bc i remember family having one and it was like exactly what i always wanted as a kid :) i think i'll look into getting that!
also IBM thinkpads, i kinda have a small budget at the moment so im just gonna see what i can afford and continue on from there!
