Family friends

I hate the concept of family friends (most of the time). Why does it automatically mean that I am friends with an entire family, just because my parents enjoy the other pair of parents company? I do NOT want to be a part of their crew. Being  a part of their crew isn't even enough, I also have to endure them knocking on my door when I'm trying to get some alone time on my room. Leave me alone please!!!
